2011 news and dates
From the President!!!!
Gday All,
-First contest next year is the Jim Beam teams event(team to be finalised) on the 15th of Jan most likely at Dbah-be good to see everyone there supporting to kickstart our 2011 campaign.
-Sign on is the 23rd of jan(details below on times and membership costs) You must be a paid up member before you can enter the water in a North End round for insurance reasons.
To take the heat off organising the first club round, as it is generally a big day, we would appreciate if everyone has signed on before the 30th, so see you all at the sign on morning.
-First club round is 30th of January-sign on Narrowneck at 6am
-We are looking for more groms to join the club. if you see anyone in the water looks to surf ok, ask them if they are in a club, it cant hurt or if you know of anyone who might fit in, bring them down.
Remember the first step is always the hardest and everyones been there, but once you get the bug, you keep coming back. Also new groms are free for the first year.......
(important though that they have good water skills and basic surfing skills- unfortunately one thing we cant do is take the role on as a learn to surf school)
