2010 kicks off this weekend with everyone to be down at Narrowneck before 6.30am. If you haven't already signed up for the year, please be earlier so we can kick off at 7 at the latest.
YOU MUST BE A PAID UP MEMBER FOR 2010 TO SURF...NO EXCEPTIONS
There is a tasty bit of swell due so don't miss out........

The Annual General Meeting was held last Thursday night...Thanks to those that turned up.


The main thing that was done was the election of this years committee which is as follows...
President... Brett Evans
Secretary... Mark Williams (Patch)
Treasurer...David McGrath (Squiddy)
Contest Director... Mat McGrath
Social Director... Teresa Taylor
Head Judges...Phil Wheeler & Nigel Hyland
Junior Coordinator/Trainer... Chris Bennetts (Ibis)
Committee Member... Greg Craig

Another item that has been changed is surfing in extra divisions.... Last year, if you made a final then you could surf in extra divisions....This year, due to numbers, you need to win your division to be eligible for the next division...eg win junior round, then you can surf in opens for the rest of the year as well as juniors....

Lastly Good Luck to all the NEB members in this weeks Breaka Pro at Burleigh...
Heath 'Nutty' Walker, Josh 'Pinny' Dowthwaite, Damon 'Stamos' Nichols and Chris 'Ibis' Bennetts will be flying the NEB flag. Flare it up boys....NEB is due for a big party!!!!!!!!!
